Simon Young - Massage Practitioner

Welcome to the Simon Young website.
Simon is a qualified professional insured massage therapist, a concert pianist and professor of piano at Trinity College of Music. He is also a fitness enthusiast who is particularly interested in the control and balance of tension and relaxation within the body systems. The beneficial effects of massage before and after performing were partly responsible for the desire to become a therapist himself.
Employees of all kinds including musicians and athletes often develop muscular problems that result in repetitive strain injuries, stiff shoulders and necks, backache and headaches, and massage is a beneficial and effective way to treat these and many other problems.
Massage is a reputable and recognized therapy, beneficial to all body systems and is a natural and effective way to treat both physical conditions and psychological problems. Touch is natural and comforting so the hands soothe (and/or stimulate) and relax as well as promote suppleness in the muscles to improve circulation and reduce stress.
Regular massages can also prevent muscular problems developing.
Massage can also help to treat RSI in musicians and office workers.
